Day 14: Sea days: nothing to do, not enough time to do it

It was a bit rough today. Nothing compared to our time in Alaska, and the truth is that Emma and I both loved the conditions. Some of the other guests, not so much.

Being a sea day I relaxed in my preferred style: I did my first Spanish class, attended a lecture by ITV journalist Ken Rees talking about memorable stories he’d covered over the years, another lecture by Ambassador Ken Peck about cultural perceptions, did some reading, and hit the gym for an hour.

Emma choose to relax. Weird.

We had our first formal dinner that night. We scrubbed up OK for a couple of Antipodean yobs.

If I didn't know better I'd think we were on holiday.
